Prof. Fola Aboaba
Chairman
A retired Professor of Agric. Engineering, he had his University Education at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin USA (1968 - 1971); Kings College, University of Durham, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England (1960 - 1962) - MSc; and the University College, Ibadan, Nigeria (1955 - 1959). Between 1998 and 2005, Prof. Aboaba served as Chairman, Global Bank Plc; from 1992 - 1998, he was Secretary General, Committee of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian universities. He has also served as Chairman, Governing Council, Federal Institute of Industrial Research ,Oshodi between 1976 - 1979; member, Governing Council of the Yaba College of Technology from 1984 - 1989; member Board of Directors of Caxton press Nigeria Limited 1986 - 1988. He has acted as consultant to many Institutions in both public and private sectors. He is a Fellow, Nigerian Society of Agric. Engineers among many other distinguished memberships. Prof. Aboaba has authored many publications in learned journals in Nigeria and internationally. He is presently MD/CEO Associated Granite Industries Limited, Abeokuta; Pro Chancellor and Chairman of Council of the Redeemers university and a director of the Lekki Community Bank.

Mr. Abiodun Taiwo
MD/CEO
He is the Managing Director/CEO of Intercontinental Finance and Investment Limited, an astute banker of over 18 years experience. He earned his first degree in Business Education with specialization in Marketing from Ahmadu Bello University in 1987 as the best graduating student of the department in that year. He also holds a Masters of Banking and Finance from Bayero University in year 2000. He started his banking career with EKO International Bank in 1988 and then moved to Equity Bank (now Intercontinental Bank Plc) in 1996. He won several awards in the defunct Equity Bank Nigeria Limited and was actually adjudged the best Branch Manager for the year 2001. He is a member of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria (CPIN). He has attended several courses both locally and abroad.

Dr. Erastus Akingbola
Director
He is a non-executive director of the company. He holds an MBA degree from the University of Lagos in 1986. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London and Nigeria, the Nigerian Institute of Management and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN). He has had over 34 years continuous banking practice embracing commercial banking, merchant banking, discount house operations, leasing and insurance. He started his banking career with Barclays Bank (Union Bank) in 1971 and rose to the position of Assistant Accountant in 1977, before leaving for NAL Merchant Bank Limited as Executive Assistant in the Operations Department. He rose rapidly at NAL, becoming a Senior Manager in 1984. Dr. Akingbola has attended several banking and executive management courses both locally and internationally in the USA (Harvard Business School), France, Switzerland, Singapore, Britain etc. A man of many parts, Dr. Akingbola belongs to several professional organizations, had served as President, Lagos Business School Alumni Association (1998-2000), and was a former President of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN). President Obasanjo conferred him with the national honour of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) in recognition of his monumental contributions to the development of the Nigerian economy.

Mr. Chris Alabi
Director
A non-executive director of the company and a 1971 graduate of Sociology from the University of Ibadan. He is an accomplished businessman with vast business interest that cuts across various sectors of the economy. His many business activities cut across banking, maritime, farming, education etc. Mr. Alabi started his career as a Sales Representatives with the Nigerian Explosives and Plastics Company Limited upon graduation and rose to the position of General Manager in 1977. He left the company to co-found Cakasa Nigeria Limited and was appointed Managing Director/Vice Chairman. He is one of the four founding fathers of Intercontinental Bank Plc, a former Chairman of Equity Bank and a Director of Union Trust Building Society Limited. He is the Chairman of many companies including Intercontinental Capital Markets Limited.
